Wind Chime 6 Tubes G-600A Silver Red Wood 60 cm

The Wind Chime 6 Tubes G-600A Silver Red Wood 60 cm is a metal wind chime: 6 silver metal tubes hang from a round wooden top in a mahogany shade, with a striker in the centre and a red leaf-shaped wooden sail at the bottom to catch the wind. Length including the hanger is about 60 cm, weight about 135 g.

At about 60 cm long, this compact wind chime fits even a small flat — by a window, on a balcony or in the hallway. Short tubes give a bright, high and clear sound.

Silver tubes belong to the Metal element, which governs clarity, order, creativity and the help of influential people. Their light shine suits almost any interior.

How the sound is made

The sound is born when the wind moves the sail at the bottom: the striker gently touches the tubes, and each one rings with its own note. Metal tubes give a clear, long-lasting tone that fades gradually and is easy on the ear.

The meaning of wind chimes in Feng Shui

The ringing of chimes is believed to cleanse a space and attract favourable events. Wind chimes with metal tubes are linked to the Metal element: in Feng Shui they are hung in the west and north-west of a room, and also by the entrance so that the ringing "greets" guests and invites luck into the home.

Such a chime symbolically:

clears the space of negativity;
invites luck and new opportunities;
supports harmony and a good mood;
helps you relax to its gentle ringing;
decorates a room, balcony or garden.

Where to hang it

The best places are by a window, on a balcony, porch, in the garden or in the hallway, where the chime will ring when the door opens. Do not hang it above a place where you sleep or sit for long: the sound should delight, not distract.

Care

From time to time wipe the tubes with a soft dry cloth, without abrasive cleaners. Take the chime indoors during strong wind and bad weather, and carefully untangle any knotted strings.

As a gift

This chime makes a lovely gift for a housewarming, an office opening or anyone who loves unusual decor — as a wish for lightness, luck and comfort at home.
