Ceramic Maneki Neko Money Box No. 3

The popular Japanese cat Maneki Neko is known as a symbol of good luck. However, it is not the image of the animal itself that brings good luck, but the details that are present in it. With his raised left paw the cat invites guests, visitors and clients, and with his right paw he invites money. Two raised paws - Double Luck. In wealthy Japanese homes (since 1870), cats were hung with a bell on their chest to track the location of the pet, and our Maneki Neko will need a bell so that Luck does not pass by. The Maneki Neko cat's bib symbolizes protection. The Japanese tie bibs to the statues of the deity Jido Bosatsu, asking for protection and patronage. The oval gold coin that the cat is holding is called a “koban” and the face value of the “koban” in the cat’s paw is equal to 10 million dollars! A piggy bank in the form of Maneki Neko is a successful personal bank. The role of the cat Maneki Neko is a cat of the Japanese Bobtail breed - fat, peaceful, with eyes closed in pleasure. Such a symbol of Luck can please the eye, save money and invite guests.
