Altar Figurine “Gaia”, Large

Gaia is the primordial goddess of the Earth in ancient Greek mythology, the first mother of gods, Titans and all living things. The figurine shows her as a woman carrying new life within her.

Meaning in tradition. According to Hesiod's Theogony, Gaia arose from Chaos and herself gave birth to the sky Uranus, the mountains and the sea, and her union with Uranus produced the Titans. The Greeks honoured her as the nourisher of all that exists, and her shrine and oracle stood at Delphi even before Apollo.

Esoteric properties:

• gives grounding, steadiness and stability
• supports fertility and motherly power
• strengthens the bond with nature and its rhythms
• helps in practices of abundance and growth

The figurine is made of polystone in an antique bronze finish, with a name plate “Gaia” on the base. Complete your altar with magic candles and incense.
