Pair of Wood-Look Elephants, 20.5 cm

Pair of Wood-Look Elephants, 20.5 cm — a pair of wood-look polystone elephant figurines with finely detailed ears and tusks: one has its trunk lowered, the other raised joyfully upwards. Size — 16×10×20.5 cm, weight — about 910 g.

What the elephant symbolises

In Feng Shui the elephant is a symbol of wisdom, strength, stability, longevity and well-being. The word for elephant (象, xiang) sounds like the word for "auspicious sign" (祥), so the elephant is considered a harbinger of luck. An elephant with a raised trunk "scoops up" luck and wealth, and a pair of elephants is a wish for harmony and a strong family.

A pair of elephants symbolically:

brings luck and well-being;
strengthens the family and relationships;
gives wisdom and stability;
attracts prosperity.

Where to place it

The elephants are placed by the entrance facing into the room, in the living room, in the north-western helpful people area or on a windowsill with the trunk towards the window "to draw luck in from outside".

As a gift

A pair of elephants is a gift for a housewarming, wedding, anniversary or jubilee, with a wish for luck and a strong family.
