Tree of Happiness and Wealth with Lapis Lazuli

The Tree of Happiness and Wealth with lapis lazuli is an expressive decorative piece shaped like a miniature tree with a spreading crown of natural stones in a deep blue shade. Thin twisted branches emphasise the natural shape of the tree, while the rich blue stones with golden sparkles make it a noble accent in any interior. The tree stands in a clear glass jar filled with lapis lazuli chips.

Lapis lazuli is valued for its deep blue colour, reminiscent of the night sky, with white veins and golden flecks. In stone symbolism it is associated with wisdom, truth, clarity of mind and success. Combined with the image of a tree, it becomes a harmonious symbol of growth, moving forward and prosperity.

Properties of lapis lazuli

Lapis lazuli is a rock composed mainly of the mineral lazurite. The white veins in the stone are calcite, and the golden sparkles are inclusions of pyrite. The name combines the Latin lapis, "stone", with the Persian lazhward, "blue, heavenly".

Lapis lazuli has a hardness of 5–5.5 on the Mohs scale. It polishes well and takes on a deep, velvety lustre.

Lapis lazuli was one of the first stones people used as a gem: it was treasured in ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia, it adorns the burial mask of Tutankhamun, and for centuries ground lapis was used to make the famous ultramarine pigment. In stone symbolism, lapis lazuli is associated with:

wisdom and knowledge;
truth and sincerity;
clarity of mind;
success and recognition;
friendship and trust.

Because of these meanings, lapis lazuli is considered a stone for those who value knowledge and honesty and strive for success.

The meaning of lapis lazuli in Feng Shui

In Feng Shui tradition, the tree is associated with growth, development, vitality and renewal. Blue belongs to the Water element, which symbolises the flow of prosperity, career and life path, so the lapis lazuli tree can be used as a symbolic decoration linked to wisdom, success and development.

Such a tree symbolically combines:

luck and well-being;
growth and development;
wisdom and knowledge;
clarity of mind and honesty;
career success;
prosperity and new opportunities.

The deep blue crown makes the tree especially suitable for a study, a library or a restrained interior where you want to add a noble splash of colour.

How to use

The lapis lazuli Tree of Happiness can be placed on a desk, chest of drawers, shelf, cabinet or coffee table. It suits a home, office, study, shop, salon or any workspace.

In Feng Shui practice, the lapis lazuli tree can be placed in the northern part of a room, linked to the Water element, career and life path, or in the north-east — the knowledge area. It can also stand on the desk where you make important decisions.

To create an oriental-style composition, you can place Chinese coins, decorative ingots, a wealth bowl or other Feng Shui symbols nearby.

The tree does not have to be used only as a talisman. Thanks to its natural stones and unusual shape, it works perfectly as a standalone interior decoration.

Care

The tree is a decorative composition made of stones, so it does not need watering.

To care for it, simply:

remove dust with a soft dry cloth or a small brush;
do not use abrasive cleaning products;
avoid strong impacts on the stones;
do not place the tree where it can easily be knocked or tipped over;
gently straighten the metal branches if needed.

This care will help preserve the deep colour of the stones and the neat shape of the composition.

A Tree of Happiness as a gift

The Tree of Happiness and Wealth with lapis lazuli makes a beautiful symbolic gift for a birthday, housewarming, anniversary, business opening or professional holiday.

It can be given as a wish for wisdom, success, luck, well-being and prosperity. Lapis lazuli makes the composition especially noble — a good gift for a manager, teacher or colleague.
