Altar Figurine “Cernunnos”

Cernunnos is the horned god of the Celtic tradition, lord of forests, wild animals and natural abundance. He is shown with stag antlers, a torc and a serpent, signs of his power over life, strength and renewal.

Meaning in tradition. Cernunnos is known from the Gundestrup cauldron and ancient Gaulish altars, where he sits among stags and serpents. The Celts honoured him as the keeper of fertility, wealth and the eternal cycle of life, death and rebirth.
