Altar Figurine “Rozhanitsa”

Rozhanitsa is the Slavic goddess of birth, motherhood and fertility, patroness of women in childbirth and newborns. The figurine shows her as an expectant mother in a festive embroidered dress.

Meaning in tradition. Old Rus sermons mention feasts in honour of Rod and the rozhanitsy, whom the Slavs revered as keepers of fate who assign a lot to every newborn. They were offered bread, porridge, cheese and honey with prayers for easy birth, healthy children and the wellbeing of the family.

Esoteric properties:

• supports motherhood and feminine strength
• protects expectant mothers, mothers and children
• strengthens the bond with kin and ancestors
• attracts fertility and family wellbeing

How to use. Place the figurine on an ancestral altar or in a child's room with an embroidered towel, ears of wheat and a candle and ask Rozhanitsa for the happiness and health of children.

The figurine is made of polystone in an antique bronze finish, with a name plate “Rozhanitsy” on the base. Complete your altar with magic candles and incense.
