Altar Figurine “Njord”

Njord is the Norse god of the sea, winds, seafaring and wealth, of the Vanir and father of Freyr and Freya. The figurine shows him as a bearded lord of the sea.

Meaning in tradition. The Norse prayed to Njord for a fair wind, a rich catch and a safe return from voyages. He was considered the richest of the gods and could grant wealth to those who honoured him. His home Nóatún, the ship-yard, stands on the seashore.

Esoteric properties:

• attracts wealth and material wellbeing
• protects on journeys, especially by water
• helps in trade and business trips
• brings calm and harmony like a quiet sea

How to use. Place the figurine on an abundance altar with shells, sea salt and a blue candle and turn to Njord before journeys and in practices for prosperity.

The figurine is made of polystone in an antique bronze finish, with a name plate “Njord” on the base. Complete your altar with magic candles and incense.
