Tree of Happiness and Wealth with Colorful Fluorite on a Stone

The Tree of Happiness and Wealth with colorful fluorite on a stone base is a handcrafted decorative piece: a miniature tree with a crown of natural stones in purple, lilac and clear shades is mounted on a solid piece of natural stone. The fluorite base shimmers in purple and blue, while the crown is made of light and lilac stones. The base is a large raw piece of purple-blue fluorite, so the tree stands steadily on any surface.

Colorful fluorite is a stone in which nature has mixed several colours: purple, blue, green and clear can all appear in one crystal. In stone symbolism it is called the "stone of a clear mind" and is associated with focus, order in one's thoughts and inspiration.

Properties of fluorite

Fluorite is calcium fluoride, a mineral that forms bright crystals in many colours. The name comes from the Latin fluere, "to flow", because fluorite was used as a flux when smelting metals. The phenomenon of fluorescence is named after this mineral.

Fluorite has a hardness of 4 on the Mohs scale and is the reference mineral for that value. It is noticeably softer than quartz, so both the base and the crown should be protected from knocks and scratches.

Bands of different colours in one stone are called colour zoning, which makes every fluorite unique. In stone symbolism, fluorite is associated with:

clarity of mind;
focus and order;
study and new knowledge;
inspiration;
harmony and calm.

The meaning of fluorite in Feng Shui

In Feng Shui, purple shades are linked to wisdom, spiritual growth and prosperity. The fluorite tree symbolically helps bring order to your affairs and thoughts and supports those who study, do intellectual work and make important decisions.

What a tree on a stone symbolises

In Feng Shui tradition, the natural stone at the base symbolises support and a solid foundation, while the tree stands for growth and development. Together they form a symbol of prosperity growing on a reliable basis. Such a tree symbolically combines:

luck and well-being;
growth and development;
clarity of mind;
order in your affairs;
inspiration and new knowledge;
prosperity and new opportunities.

Where to place it

In Feng Shui, the fluorite tree is placed in the north-eastern part of a room — the area of knowledge and self-development — as well as on a work or writing desk, in a study or a child's room.

The tree on a stone is compact and looks great on a desk, bookshelf, windowsill, chest of drawers or in a display case. It can stand on its own or together with other Feng Shui symbols — Chinese coins, ingots or a wealth bowl.

Care

The tree does not need watering. Simply remove dust from time to time with a soft brush or a dry cloth, avoid abrasive cleaners and protect the stones from strong impacts. If needed, the metal branches can be gently straightened. Fluorite can lose some colour intensity in long direct sunlight, so it is best kept away from a sunny windowsill.

A Tree of Happiness on a stone as a gift

The Tree of Happiness and Wealth with colorful fluorite on a stone base is a symbolic and long-lasting gift for a birthday, housewarming, anniversary, business opening or professional holiday. A colorful fluorite tree is a good gift for a student, a pupil, a teacher or a colleague as a wish for clarity of mind, success and luck.
