Tree of Happiness and Wealth with Rock Crystal on a Stone Base

The Tree of Happiness and Wealth with rock crystal on a stone base is a handcrafted decorative piece: a miniature tree with a crown of natural stones in clear, crystal-pure colour is mounted on a solid piece of natural stone. The transparent stones sparkle in the light and make the piece light and elegant. The base is a large raw rock crystal, so the tree stands steadily on any surface.

Rock crystal is one of the most recognisable natural stones: clear as ice and sparkling in the light. In stone symbolism it is associated with purity, clarity, harmony and the ability to focus on what matters most. A tree with a rock crystal crown looks especially bright and suits almost any interior.

Properties of rock crystal

Rock crystal is the colourless, transparent variety of quartz — pure silicon dioxide. Its name comes from the Greek krystallos, meaning "ice": the ancient Greeks believed rock crystal was eternal, petrified ice.

Rock crystal has a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale. It resists scratches from most household materials and keeps its clarity and lustre for decades.

Bowls, seals and the famous crystal balls have long been carved from rock crystal, and today quartz plates work inside every quartz watch. In stone symbolism, rock crystal is associated with:

purity and clarity;
harmony and balance;
focus on your goals;
amplifying good intentions;
bright, positive energy.

The meaning of rock crystal in Feng Shui

In Feng Shui, clear and white stones belong to the Metal element, which is linked to clarity, order, creativity and help from others. Rock crystal is also believed to gather and evenly distribute energy in a room, so a rock crystal tree symbolically fills the space with light and ease.

What a tree on a stone symbolises

In Feng Shui tradition, the natural stone at the base symbolises support and a solid foundation, while the tree stands for growth and development. Together they form a symbol of prosperity growing on a reliable basis. Such a tree symbolically combines:

luck and well-being;
growth and development;
clarity and pure intentions;
harmony and order;
support and help from others;
prosperity and new opportunities.

Where to place it

According to Feng Shui, the rock crystal tree can be placed in the western part of a room, linked to creativity and children, or in the north-west — the area of helpful people and patrons. A windowsill is also a good spot: in the sun, the clear stones play beautifully with light.

The tree on a stone is compact and looks great on a desk, bookshelf, windowsill, chest of drawers or in a display case. It can stand on its own or together with other Feng Shui symbols — Chinese coins, ingots or a wealth bowl.

Care

The tree does not need watering. Simply remove dust from time to time with a soft brush or a dry cloth, avoid abrasive cleaners and protect the stones from strong impacts. If needed, the metal branches can be gently straightened.

A Tree of Happiness on a stone as a gift

The Tree of Happiness and Wealth with rock crystal on a stone base is a symbolic and long-lasting gift for a birthday, housewarming, anniversary, business opening or professional holiday. This clear, bright tree suits any taste and makes a wish for clarity, harmony, luck and prosperity.
