Bronze Baihu Guardian of the West No. 2, 7 cm

Bronze Baihu Guardian of the West No. 2, 7 cm — a miniature bronze figurine of the White Tiger mid-leap — a long striped body, a raised paw and bared jaws. Size — 7×2×5 cm, weight — about 62 g.

Who Baihu is

Baihu (白虎), the White Tiger, is one of the four celestial guardians of the cardinal directions. He guards the west and is linked to autumn and the Metal element. The White Tiger embodies strength, courage and protection from evil; in classical Feng Shui he is to the right of the house and balances the Azure Dragon.

The Baihu figurine symbolically:

guards the western side of the home;
protects against ill-wishers and evil;
gives courage and strength;
balances the energies of the home.

Where to place it

Baihu is placed in the western part of the home or room, and in a set of four guardians in the west, opposite the Azure Dragon. A tiger is not placed opposite the front door or in the bedroom.

As a gift

The White Tiger is a gift for those born in the Year of the Tiger and for lovers of Chinese mythology; together with the other guardians it makes a complete protective set.
