Bronze Suzaku Guardian of the South No. 2, 5.5 cm

Bronze Suzaku Guardian of the South No. 2, 5.5 cm — a miniature bronze figurine of the Vermilion Bird in flight, with a crest, raised wings and a long flowing tail. Size — 5.5×2.5×5 cm, weight — about 54 g.

Who Zhuque (Suzaku) is

Zhuque (朱雀), Suzaku in Japanese, is the Vermilion Bird, one of the four celestial guardians of the cardinal directions. She guards the south and is linked to summer, the Fire element, fame and joy. In classical Feng Shui the Vermilion Bird is in front of the house: the open space ahead means room for opportunities and a good reputation.

The Vermilion Bird figurine symbolically:

guards the southern side of the home;
brings fame and recognition;
opens new opportunities;
fills the home with joy and energy.

Where to place it

The Vermilion Bird is placed in the southern part of the home or room — the fame area — and in a set of four guardians in the south, opposite the Black Tortoise in the north.

As a gift

The Vermilion Bird is a gift for those seeking fame and recognition — artists, managers, graduates; together with the other guardians it makes a complete protective set.
