Bronze Qinglong Guardian of the East No. 1, 4.5 cm

Bronze Qinglong Guardian of the East No. 1, 4.5 cm — a miniature bronze figurine of the Azure Dragon standing on an octagonal pedestal with the Ba Gua trigrams and the inscription 青龍. Size — 3.5×3×4.5 cm, weight — about 50 g.

Who Qinglong is

Qinglong (青龍), the Azure Dragon, is one of the four celestial guardians of the cardinal directions. He guards the east and is linked to spring, the Wood element and the energy of growth. In classical Feng Shui the Azure Dragon is the support to the left of the house: he brings luck, patronage and masculine yang energy.

The Qinglong figurine symbolically:

guards the eastern side of the home;
brings luck and patronage;
supports growth, development and health;
strengthens yang energy.

Where to place it

Qinglong is placed in the eastern part of the home or room, and in a set of four guardians in the east, opposite the White Tiger in the west. Traditionally the dragon should stand slightly higher than the tiger.

As a gift

The Azure Dragon is a gift for those born in the Year of the Dragon and for lovers of Chinese mythology; all four guardians together make a complete protective set.
